The BSR HyAirport study examined the feasibility of using gaseous hydrogen technologies in airport ground vehicles at airports across the Baltic Sea region. It analyses the technical, economic and infrastructural conditions for hydrogen-powered ground vehicles and outlines how hydrogen can be gradually integrated into airport operations.
Participating organisations:
Recommendation for standardising hydrogen infrastructure (incl. refuelling protocol) for intralogistics applications using hydrogen and fuel cells
In the study prepared for Clean Intralogistics Net, existing hydrogen applications in Europe were first analysed and a recommendation for the standardisation of hydrogen infrastructure for intralogistics applications was developed from the findings. The interoperability of industrial trucks and infrastructure across models and manufacturers is a decisive factor for the further market ramp-up. The results of the study are now to be incorporated into international standardisation.
Participating companies:
The study was funded by the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV) with a total of 25,000 euros as part of the ‘National Innovation Programme Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology’. The funding programme is coordinated by NOW GmbH
