ABOUT greecon

Company idea

greecon CONSULTING is a management consultancy for sustainable energy supply and economical intralogistics.

Different technologies are available for the sustainable operation of forklifts, warehouse equipment and ground support equipment. Whether the most economical solution is batteries, hydrogen-powered fuel cells, or even alternative eco-fuels, is always a question of where and how the equipment will be used.

greecon supports users in finding the most economical way to sustainable intralogistics.

The energy turnaround

A challenge also in intralogistics

The energy market is a state of transition. The German government's targets aim for climate neutrality by 2045, while at the same time electricity prices have increased significantly in recent months.

Various commercially established options are available to solve the new challenges, such as

- Conventional lead-acid batteries
- Modern lithium-ion batteries
- Hydrogen-powered fuel cells

In contrast, the requirements of individual intralogistics applications are very diverse:

- Fleet sizes from 1 - 2000 trucks
- Single-shift or 24/7 operation
- Different temperature and environmental conditions
- Outdoor or indoor
- etc.

The best choice is always a decision adapted to the local conditions.

ABOUT me

I am Tim Schultz-Harzheim

At the beginning of 2023 I founded greecon as Tim Schultz-Harzheim - greecon Consulting with company headquarters in Bochum.

After graduating in mechanical engineering, I worked for manufacturers and larger dealers of industrial trucks for over 13 years. My focus was initially on logistics consulting for warehouse equipment and narrow-aisle trucks, and later also for counterbalanced forklifts through to container stackers, so that I developed into an all-rounder for industrial trucks.

Then, in mid-2015, the topic of hydrogen for intralogistics "grabbed" me, and subsequently I worked for a large American manufacturer of mobile and stationary fuel cells and H2 infrastructures for over seven years.

With the foundation of greecon, I now make my knowledge available to end users of intralogistics vehicles in a manufacturer-independent and technology-open manner. I am convinced that the transformation to sustainable intralogistics in the energy transition requires individual solutions and that different technologies will establish themselves in the diverse areas of application - whether these are battery-powered, hydrogen-powered or possibly other energy sources in the future, such as eco-fuels.
